I want to be something of an animator and cartoonist and what schools in California, particularly in or around San Francisco can help me with that? What are the best classes for me to take?

It is very expensive and that is not its forte. I would suggest Acadamy of Art www.acadamyofart.edu or www.sfai.edu which is the Art Institute of San Francisco but if you want a college degree check out SF State University which is less expensive www.sfsu.edu
