I'm a senior in high school living in San Francisco California and I need help finding a good college that has a good geology or earth science department

It depends on what you want to do with your geology degree. Do you want to specialize in earthquakes, or volcanoes, or search for petroleum? Or perhaps you would like to study fossils and earth tectonics on the bottom of the ocean. What you want to specialize in will determine which school is best for you.
