Keysi Fighting Method schools in California, in the Bay Area?
I am very interested in trying to learn this martial art form but everytime I search for any information, it seems they only teach it in Englad and Russia and stuff. Does anyone know of any schools in the US at all, and if they have any in California around the San Francisco Bay Area?

FIDM. Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise. (the M might be incorrect) but that place is really cool!
2 :
http://uscolleges.undonet.com - try this one. It has brief resumes for all California art schools, how much average grade should you have and some useful tips to apply.
3 :
The Art Institute has several campuses, including San Francisco. I recommend visiting one of them before you apply. Also check out the more prestigious Art Institute of Pasadena or Cal Arts of Valencia. Other schools include California College of the Arts (SF & Oakland) and Otis College (LA). The school that is best for you really depends on what you want to do. Visit the web sites to learn what programs they have, then visit if you can. Art school is very costly so be sure that's what you really want to do because everyone leaves with art school heavily in debt (like $100k or more). My friend went to FIDM and worked for a bit in the industry but then back to school for a different degree. Another went to Art Institute and freelances it to this day. There are ways to reduce the cost, by doing Gen Eds at a community college (or marrying someone who works there for staff discount), but an art school provides the intense studio time you need to develop your skills and create a nice portfolio for when you're ready to work. Not to mention the teachers might have some good connections.

Can I get into the University of San Francisco with a 3.0 and an SAT score of around 1500 or so?

Can I get into the University of San Francisco with a 3.0 and an SAT score of around 1500 or so?
Would it be worth the effort to try and apply to UCSF with a 3.0 and a 1570 or so SAT score? Or am I just wasting application fee money I could be using on other things/applications... What schools in California (state or uc) would you suggest I also try?

Go for it! If you don't apply for that school, you should try UCI, UCR, UCD or UCSC.
2 :
Try all the UC's, just because your extra-curriculars and your personal statements can make ALL the difference. Your SAT score is pretty good, but you might wanna try and retake it. I think you mistyped it though cause you wrote UCSF, but that is a graduate school. I think you mean USF. But just apply everywhere, the money on applications is nothing compared to you going where you want. Good luck! And I think UC apps are due soon!
Does anyone know of any online criminal justice co...

First of all, its Sugar Land haha. i've lived in SL all my life so there are some things i could tell you. Academically, Dulles might not be as challenging as the other schools in the Fort Bend District. Which is good or bad for you depending what you like. I personally went to Clements, another school in the district that's close. And i knew of a student that was not in top 10% at Clements. Transferred to Dulles, was in top 10% and got accepted in to UT. No joke. I would say the students are VERY diverse at Dulles, not in any way to be offensive to anyone. Caucasian, Asian & Indian, African American, and Hispanic. I believe Dulles is a very old school but they've done renovations here and there. In general i'm sure you'll like living in Sugar Land though, very nice place to live.
2 :
It used to be but I hear the Fort Bend ISD schools are overcrowded.
3 :
I've heard a quarter of the students don't feel safe on the Dulles campus.
4 :
Compared to other schools in the southwest Houston area it is a good school. Compared to the rest of Fort Bend ISD, though, it is so-so. There are far better high schools in the district.

What universities offer the best geology or earth sciences programs in an English speaking Country?

What universities offer the best geology or earth sciences programs in an English speaking Country?
I'm a senior in high school living in San Francisco California and I need help finding a good college that has a good geology or earth science department

It depends on what you want to do with your geology degree. Do you want to specialize in earthquakes, or volcanoes, or search for petroleum? Or perhaps you would like to study fossils and earth tectonics on the bottom of the ocean. What you want to specialize in will determine which school is best for you.
2 :
Columbia University has a fantastic geology and geophysics program.
3 :
1) ask this question of your college counselor. If he/she does not know the answer, he/she will find it out. 2) Put - colleges with geology earth sciences programs - in the search box of google or yahoo. "

LA has more enjoyable weather year round. SF has a much better public transportation network. If you have the budget for it, visit them both and make your decision accordingly.
2 :
although, I'm not from those two areas, I have been to both and I love SF better. Because of the weather (I like the cold) and the fog and the people. The north wine country and the forest. LA just scares me sometimes.
3 :
LA is mostly about the movie industry and supporting industries, so it has quite a bit of faux-glamour. The weather is consistently warm all year round. The traffic is unbearably bad. The city is actually a collections of lots of different suburban small towns, and it is really sprawled out. Lots of smog. San Francisco is much smaller (800,000 people or so, vs. the millions in LA). It is also much smaller in area, so it is very easy to get around without a car, by using the public transportation options. The traffic is marginally better than LA. The weather is consistently cool (50-60) and they do get a few spring rainshowers. San Francisco is less suburban and more urban. Of course, it is hilly. Both cities have beaches, are fairly close to outdoor recreation, have unique countercultures, and have a variety of options for entertainment/music. Both are prone to earthquakes.

Which is better, Rum Raisin or Peppermint Stick?
5 :
I like both. I have lived in both. I now live in O.C. San Francisco is great for their public transportation, museums, culture. The weather can be cold quite a bit. I find it a lot more crowded than L.A. L.A. is good because the weather is great most of the year. There is great night life, lots of outdoor activities. Just depends on what you are into.
6 :
Los angeles has better views and entertainment but transportation SUCKS! San Francisco- Earthquake prone city!..........But good transportation i live in SAN fran I recommend LA
7 :
ARe you driving? Yes- San Francisco and No for LA.
8 :
I would say San Francisco would be the better choice .I have lived in both places L A Is very difficult to get around. Very spread out ant traffic is a nightmare. San Francisco Is compact and has the best public transportation in the US. you don't need a car. (That could save you $ 1,000 a month.) and very easy to get around.
9 :
LA Theres not much to do in SF. Its really small Life in LA is more exciting. SF is more for hippies and stoners. Its also constnatly foggy in SF. Really depressing
